Australian Friends and Companions of Julian of Norwich

‘This sight was shown for all the world’

Our Australian friends write:

"Australia was completely unknown to the fourteenth century mystic and anchoress, Julian of Norwich, but today her book is known and loved across our ancient land.

"Those of us who have come to value her insights and wisdom through reading her book are scattered across this vast continent, but technology can shrink distance and now we meet once a month on the first Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m. Aust. EST., thanks to Zoom.  We call ourselves the Australian Friends and Companions of Julian of Norwich.

We meet to explore her writings, as well as related texts, and for prayer and meditation.  We exchange news and books of interest and keep in touch via email.  We celebrate Julian’s Feast Day in our various cities and parishes, and in Spring, 2022 we hope to arrange a retreat in Melbourne and meet face to face for the first time.

If you are interested in joining our monthly Zoom meeting, you would be most welcome.
